Pics of events are often taken at something like a 32fps exposure, which means the detail is often very telling. Digital pictures have revolutionised everything really. Fast, better detail, more. You wouldn't catch shots like this in the 70s

Is a game which is much more difficult that it first appears. And what it appears to be is a simple minded trip down a corridor. You have to shoot the Puki coming towards you, which sadly mostly look like badly dawn infants. But they can fly and if they penetrate your defences, well, the screen goes slightly red.
If, like me, you spent many happy hours wandering around in Doom, then this might bring back some memories.

Ethically aware and certainly more environmentally (or appearing to be so) site CoolTribe is trying where many other outfits have failed; to gather together people who actually give a rats' arse about our world.
The thing that drew me here was this; for every member they recruit, they are going - they say - to plant a tree. It's got some cool features lacking from it's better financed peers, but the site itself has some really nice people on board, including me. Thursday, June 25

This is an interesting site about Buddism. A friend of mine, who went on to develop complex DNA theories, mentioned that Buddism was the only logical religion and it's simplicity he found attractive.

There's a lot of stuff on Live Journal, I keep one myself, although a lot of it is marked for friends only. It's a nice slice of life. Here's one of the most interesting reads lately.

to discourage your kids use of guns? This is a billboard which has been doing the rounds. Got to be fair, if I saw this it would probably worry me enough to crash the car.

Oh yes, that old chestnut. There's a whole load on Deviantart, but here's a taster...
![]() Although I doubt if Mr Wilde would have found this image particularly tempting. This image is by borntosparkle. Good effort. |
