Throughout history there have been ideas. Some of them have worked, some of them have advanced science and human culture, mine seem to involve female volleyball players, a bush and some hand cream.

This is an interesting article about how ideas develop. Some of them are plainly looy, but number one, which is the basis for quantum theory and infinate universes, concerns itself with the every possible permutation and outcome of given choices.
